Truly suggestive excursion and suitable for anyone, park at the Rhaetian museum and the path starts immediately, first through the apple trees and then set in the rock, for about 3km, then you go up a beautiful, very tough staircase that leads to the hermitage of San Romedio.
Truly impressive church with its typical charm of this region.

Walk in San Romedio starting from the Rhaetian museum.

Super exciting hike along the Felssteig and back along the river. It is also suitable with a child carrier - but requires a slightly bent back at the rock face 🤠. Along the river there are several opportunities to go swimming - for children & also for dogs.

The monastery as a stage destination is also worth a visit.

From the Sanzeno car park, this is a short 3-hour excursion to the Chapel of St. Romedius. There is also a pilgrimage route from Innsbruck to the chapel, see photo.

Immersed in a splendid natural setting, the architectural complex is made up of several churches and chapels built on the rock and connected by a steep staircase of 131 steps.
The walk on …

This one, however, uses a fantastic ledge carved into the vertical rock face of the north face for …

Nice walk in the woods until you reach the monastery. The car can be left in the parking lot in front of the museum (practically where the route begins) and then off you go. Interesting passage under a ridge, not easy to find elsewhere. At the end of the path there is a beautiful staircase to get to the monastery. …
