Beautiful forest paths up to the castle and comfortably back to Badenweiler. It was nice.

Well signposted hiking trails lead to the Neuenfels ruins. From there you have a wide view of the Rhine valley and the Vosges. The parking spaces for hikers are very good. A visit to the spa park and the spa promenade in Badenweiĺer is recommended.

We started and finished at the Schlossberggarge. The prices here are really moderate for a spa town and a one-day ticket costs a maximum of 12 euros. You might get lucky in the town itself, but parking is usually limited to 2 hours.
