Langstone Harbour is a thriving port and Site of Special Scientific Interest, an inlet of the English Channel in Hampshire, between Portsea Island, Hayling Island and Langstone. It's a great place to spot birds - some 40,000 visit over the winter months. Harbour seals also haul out here and can be seen basking in the sun.

Canoe Lake is located on Southsea Seafront just to the east of South Parade Pier and dates from 1886. The Canoe Lake area has a wide variety of landscapes ranging from the grassland area close to the lake, to the formal planting of the Rose Gardens within the remains of Lumps Fort.

South Parade Pier

One of two piers in Portsmouth, South Parade is a classic English pier packed with amusements, food outlets and souvenir shops. It underwent complete renovation in 2017 after having fallen into disrepair and is now a lively place, particularly in the summer. It was originally opened in 1879 and has undergone a rather tumultuous history with fires, innumerable sales and being used as a film location.
