The Roman villa is worth a visit if you're in the area although it is expensive to enter, the site does have a lot of detail though and I found it very interesting. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed into the site and we saw a number of people turn away because of this so worth bearing in mind.
The climb is mainly at the beginning as you climb up diagonally through a field in to the forest. That's the worst bit. But I am 24 stone and a lorry driver and I managed it so its not too bad. This is lovely walk with a nice mixture of forest, fields, an old RAF runway and a couple of …
