This forested ridge sits amongst the area of woodlands to the south east of Caerphilly. Both the Cambrian Ridgeway and the Rhymney Valley Ridgeway Walk traverse the ridge and the bridleway is particularly beautiful and vibrant in summer.

Cefn Onn Quarry is a former slate quarry in Cardiff. It is situated next to Coed Tranch-yr-Hebog and Wern Ddu forests. Enjoy some lovely views from here over the surrounding Vale of Glamorgan and nearby towns.
