Highlight • Viewpoint

Fantastic views from the top of the hill on the return leg. Looking west/south west I think that is Bredon Hill with the Malvern Hills maybe just visible in the far distance beyond.

St Michael and All Angels Church, Stanton

"It is believed that a church was built on this site in the year 1100. However, it is believed to be possible that a Saxon church on the present site was served in early times by the monks of Winchcombe Benedictine Abbey, as the Manor, tithes and patronage of Stanton were bestowed on the Abbey by Kenulf, King of Mercia in 811 AD. A wonderful, ancient and historic church."

Horse Farm in the Cotswolds

What a great and unexpected pleasure for this 'city boy'. I stepped into the field and the horses all trotted up and surrounded me. They then proceeded to 'guilt trip' me for not having any carrots or apples😁🍏🥕. But they were so calm and gentle. Definitely a highlight for me.
