Nice little walk from Bamford up to Lady Bower reservoir. Ascend to High Hoe, along the ridge and then a pretty steep descent back into Bamford.

Started day touring Sheffield Steelworks and Foundry's for work and somehow ended up at Bamford edge and Yorkshire bridge pub, what a day 🙂

Perfect hiking weather to welcome me back to the Peaks today. Arrived, quick brew, then out into the hills. 💚💚

Stunning views from Bamford Ridge overlooking Bamford, towards Castleton then overlooking Derwent Reservoir and Ladybower then a steep walk back down again via the Haunted Wood! A stop off at the Yorkshire Bridge Inn on the way back -well earned. Quite busy even in January rain, mud and cloud.
