Trent Country Park is a 413-acre (167 ha) area of ancient woodland and parkland. Once a royal hunting forest known as Enfield Chase it's now part of the London Greenbelt.

You can run or walk the miles of well-kept trails around the estate; there are a couple of small lakes and an obelisk at the highest point. The park isn't exactly hilly, but you can get a bit of elevation on a lap of the perimeter and it's very pretty.

Trent Park running club trains here regularly and there's an annual 10km race - the Triffic Trail.
