January 13, 2024,Our traditional Bugesera Hike - done counterclock-wise for a change

Gitaraga Village (Rurenge Cell) was interesting and busy, with many stands selling vegetables and fruits, or decorated restaurants offering their fare for all kind of customers. It seems that previously we must have come here on Sundays, when the village was markedly more quiet.
