May 28, 2023,Von Liebenburg über den Bärenkopf nach Salzgitter-Bad. Zurück über das Waldgasthaus Hasenspring nach Liebenburg
It's wonderful to be walking this path in May. In the first, definitely more demanding half of the way, you literally bathe in wild garlic in the forest.

Today was different to what you're used to, great hiking weather even though the forecast wasn't that great. For a change I went hiking in the Salzgitter hills and can highly recommend the sculpture trail, also because of the peace theme. A detour to Liebenburg Castle should not be missed either.

Today we chose a route free of icy conditions and decided to hike again between Liebenburg and the sculpture trail in Salzgitter Bad. The weather was fantastic, and this varied trail is highly recommended. Even if the sculpture trail itself isn't universally popular, the theme of peace is very relevant today.
