Rax Cable Car Mountain Station

Excellent, but also very busy starting point for tours on the Rax Plateau. The extensive snowshoe rental service in winter means that there are often whole hordes of people on the section between the mountain station and Praterstern. From the Ottohaus onwards, however, the crowds disperse.

It was a quick ride up with the cable car. A plateau awaits you at the top that you can also hike as a beginner or with children. The Jakobskogel is a nice challenge and rewards with a magnificent view.
