Heuberg Transmitter

The Heuberg transmitter is a broadcasting facility of the ORS. Located in the municipal area of Forchtenstein, just below the highest peak of the Rosaliengebirge, on the Heuberg, the system went into operation in 1981 and is used to broadcast VHF radio and television programs. Since July 2, 2007, TV programs have been broadcast in DVB-T. It supplies regions in northern Burgenland and the Lower Austrian industrial district.

The transmitter Heuberg uses an 80 meter high free-standing steel framework tower as antenna tower, which stands on the roof of the nine meter high transmitter building. There are platforms for directional radio antennas at heights of 29 and 34.5 meters. [wikipedia]
