Today, too, my tour went through the Puszta landscape shaped by nearby Hungary to Sandeck. There is a former Hungarian watchtower that can be climbed up to about half its height and offers a great view over the salt lakes to Lake Neisiedler. A herd of white donkeys lives under the watchtower.
