Old Neckar Bridge

Highlight • Viewpoint

Lauffen is a great stop between the Zabergäu and the Löwenstein Mountains. Alternatively, you can cycle along the Nackar River toward Heilbronn and then on to Heidelberg. In the town itself, there are several cafes and bakeries where you can stock up on provisions.

Krappenfelsen viewpoint

Highlight • Viewpoint

The Krappenfelsen rock is located in the heart of the "Katzenbeisser Steillagenareal" near Lauffen am Neckar. The view extends far across the Neckar Valley into the Zabergäu region and the Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park. The viewpoint is accessible via a small, unpaved trail with a few steps.

Besigheim Old Town

Highlight • Historical Site

The town of Besigheim is surrounded by the Neckar and Enz rivers and is surrounded by steep, terraced vineyards. The town was first mentioned in documents in 1153. The town's picturesque location attracted numerous artists to Württemberg, particularly in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Take some time for a stroll through the pretty town center with its half-timbered houses.

Mühlensteg

Highlight • Bridge

Since October 2021, the Mühlensteg has been available for cyclists and pedestrians. It is part of the Enzradweg cycle path. Directly at the access road to the bridge, a large playground for children has been created in the Enzpark. In addition, you can see a mill wheel in action. It doesn't drive a millstone, but a generator that produces electricity. New photo opportunities of Besigheim open up from the bridge.

Meanwhile, the continuation of the cycle path under the bridge has also been completed and can be used.

March 25, 2025,April, April 😁🚴
Today, the weather was all over the place. It started with sunshine all the way to Lauffen, then hail and heavy rain hit Lauffen. Light rain in Meimsheim. It was dry again in Botenheim until Bönnigheim, then rain again 😁 It was up and down...but it was still beautiful. I came home, and there was no rain 😁

Unfortunately no sun ⛅ found but at least it was dry 😊🫣

Because the weather was cloudy and damp this morning, I went to the indoor swimming pool 🏊 and then when I set off on my bike the skies cleared and I had beautiful cycling weather 🌞🚴👍.

The great weather ☀️ today had to be used to go on a nice tour. I also visited my favorite alpacas. It was lovely.🚴🌤️🦙

Because the sky was grey this morning, I did my things first 😉 and lo and behold, the sky was suddenly blue. So I quickly got on my bike and off I went. Almost like spring today, so warm. I rode without gloves 😁🌞 it was lovely 😊

With this great weather I just had to go for a quick ride before the grandchildren and family arrive 😁🎄

Showing Translation

Since I had no plan today and the weather was pretty uncertain in the morning, I spontaneously went on one of my favorite tours. It was great 👍 and the weather held up too.

Having almost recovered from the flu, I went for a slightly longer run today. It was quite strenuous 🫣 my legs felt heavy and my head was spinning 😞. But it felt really good to be out in the fresh air. 😊🚴
