Maiden voyage for my winter bike, it was snowing.
Insight 1, next time take overshoes with you. Had to walk a bit to get my toes warm again.
Insight 2, can be slick on the trails.
The most important finding, a hardtail is not a fully, everything has to be done more slowly.
