December 8, 2023,Val d'Astico, Werk Lusern
I recently saw a video of this tour from Iron Mike on YouTube 🥹...Today was the right weather for it ❄️🌨🥶...so off to Val d'Astico! Up on an ingeniously designed military road from the First World War (the road is officially closed due to landslides that have affected the road, but you can get through quite well😇) ... very strenuous …

Showing Translation

The climb is quite steep (I think they fixed the road because it is all rideable) ..... the path that from Luserna leads back down to the valley is very fun with some technical sections.

Showing Translation

Fun climb, fabulous woods, fun descent at the beginning then a nightmare down in Val di Rio Torto.
If you want to suffer follow the trail.
