From the turnoff to Pegat Peak, the trail ran through deep snow. Fortunately, there were footprints, making it easier to stay on the trail and the boardwalk. I still met about a dozen people during the hike.

The starting point (Sherbrooke Lake Trailhead) is right on Highway 1 at the height of Wapta Lake. The car park can only be reached by car if you drive west on the highway.
The path is sometimes very steep and sometimes difficult to walk because of the many roots and rocks. You should have a good basic level of fitness!
