Welshpool Town Hall was built between 1795 and 1804 on the site of a much older civic building. The Grade II-listed structure stands proudly in the centre of town and is the location for the market, council meetings and community events.

Highlight • Religious Site

St Mary's is a Grade I-listed church in the heart of Welshpool. The pretty church was built in the mid 13th century but was largely remodelled in the 19th century. There is a memorial in the church to honour Bishop William Morgan, who translated the Bible into Welsh and was the vicar from 1575 -79.
