View of Arley Railway Tunnel (Nuneaton End)

Highlight • Viewpoint

Used by railway traffic between Nuneaton and Birmingham. The tunnel entrance can be easily viewed with a shale/grit path on one side leading to it and a path across fields on the other side.

There is a fence around the Castle but can be accessed for viewing from all angles by using the gated access points around its perimeter. The public footpath across the fields and the paved path from Seeswood Pool will lead you to this and its a lovely little treasure. Parking is not good as it’s off a main busy road although there is a small narrow road upto it which is used by the residents living close by. Best accessed by foot.
