Lancaster Canal Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

The leaves can make it quite slippery under foot and wheels. It’s a great little trail for getting to the outskirts of Kendal without going on the road.

Sorry no pretty pictures for this tour. Had to ride without interruption to catch the train! There was plenty of scenic stuff though. Was visiting friends in Cartmel. The start and end are steep with a big fairly flat bit in the middle along the old 'A' road.
