The Váh (Slovak: Váh, Hungarian: Vág, Polish: Wag) is the longest river in Slovakia and, after the Danube and the Tisza, the longest river in the Carpathian Basin, with a length of 403 km (other counts 378 km). A surprisingly beautiful church in the outskirts of Mikuláš. This church actually lies in Okolične which until 1971 was an independent town. The church was built in the 15th century. It is a stone, three nave Gothic church with a simple tower and a convent in form of a cloister. If it's open, it's worth entering to see its size and the Gothic ceilings. Hopefully the church will be renovated one day...
