Jatiluwih Rice Terraces Entrance

There are 3 hiking routes through the rice terraces. the longest is 5.5km and has an altitude of around 250 meters. The start is at the highest point. We combined the routes a bit and came up with around 6.5km - you could definitely extend the route to 9km if you wanted. There are a few more paths around the Jatiluwih rice terraces that can be combined with the route.

It is worth taking the long "white" hiking trail.

A little insider tip, as the official tours turn back well in advance. Things get really authentic back here and this small terrace is a great place to take a break. Delicious fresh fruit as refreshment and super nice people. Not far from the restaurant there is a small hidden temple in the jungle.

This UNESCO Heritage is a green stunning wonder of nature and human agriculture. The intensive colors in the hand shaped landscape left nothing but overwhelming memories in our hearts. This is definitely one of the most impressive places I've ever visited.

World Heritage Site, and yet not quite as touristy and crowded as Tegelalang 👍🏼
