A very nice tour through the natural and cultural landscape of Bad Elster. Because it was a public holiday, there were lots of walkers and cyclists out and about. But everyone spread out and showed consideration for one another. I can highly recommend this tour.

This morning we took the train to Bad Elster at 5 a.m. to hike to the Czech Republic to eat dumplings with other hiking friends from Leipzig. It was a small, relaxed group that was worth the trip. In total, we were on the road for 15 hours today.
