Another truly summer day on the island. Off we went by bus to Ostland, through the salt marshes to the beach at Hooge Hörn, and back. We stopped off at the farmhouse restaurant for a freshly baked plum cake, with whipped cream, of course. Delicious! 😋

Today we walked from Ostland to Hoge Hörn. The beach there is beautiful and you hardly meet anyone. We found the way back through the salt marshes even more beautiful. We walked the whole way barefoot, a great experience and highly recommended

A beautiful tour! Along the water at high tide, we found many beach finds, including, unfortunately, several dead seals. 😕 We even sent a message to the dog-seen station in Norddeich, where we're asked to report any dead marine mammals.
We finished with delicious cake at the Bauernstuben farm café. We took the electric bus back to town.
