Lake Anterselva – Antholzer See

The Antholzer See is located at the end of the Antholzer valley, at the foot of the Staller Sattel, at an altitude of 1642m. With an area of 43 hectares and a depth of 43 m, it is the third largest lake in South Tyrol. Enzian Hut at Lake Antholz

Quaint hut at the far end of Lake Anterselva. At least when we were there it wasn't quite as busy as in the bars right on the lake. Therefore very cozy with a delicious Vesper!
The hut is also ideal as a stop for the waiting time to drive through to the Staller Sattel, which is only possible every hour between 30 and 45 minutes (as of July 2018).
There is also a very tasty homemade mountain pine schnapps here!
