Clovelly in North Devon is one of the best known and most beautiful fishing villages in the world 🤩

Showing Translation

Originally the estate was owned by William the Conqueror, King of England. He gifted it to his wife and it was in royal ownership until 1242, when the estate was first acquired by the Giffard family. Until the mid-nineteenth century, Clovelly was unknown to the outside world.
