We extended the circular route around the Wernsdorfer See a bit and walked back along the Seddinsee and the Oder-Spree Canal.

The circular hiking trail leads in an arc around the Wernsdorfer See. The lake itself can only be seen for a small section near the lock.
It is a mostly shady path through the Wernsdorfer See nature reserve and definitely worth a visit. 👍
The tour takes you along the Seddinsee and the Oder-Spree Canal.

New for me was "the black hole", discovered through a highlight on komoot. A small, somewhat arduous but worthwhile detour from the main path leads to this small, dark lake in the silting area of the Wernsdorfer See.

Today I was out and about between Brandenburg and Berlin. The sun and the beginning of spring brought a lot of joy during the tour. (The BUT comes further down.)
In some sections, especially along the Oder-Spree Canal, you could enjoy the afternoon sun in peace. 🌞
