Two Mile Gate, Lough Derg

Great spot to take a break. There's now a coffee shop, and life guards on duty in summer if you fancy a swim

Twomilegate Lakeside Recreation Area

Highlight • Lake

Local scenic spot, with a green picnic area (including barbecues). Also a small pier, with life-guards in the summer. Popular spot for swimming and kayaking. There used to be a small shop/toilets/showers, but these are usually closed and not in good condition. Serves as the starting point for the Moylussa hike, and the mid point of many runs from Kilalloe-Ballina.
