The Ausee is a 23-hectare bathing lake in the middle of the beautiful Danube meadows. In addition to clean bathing fun for young and old with spacious sunbathing areas, several restaurants and shady car parks, there is a multitude of attractive leisure and sports activities, in particular two water ski and wakeboard lifts and the aqua park. The lake is widely known for its excellent water quality even in hot summers, which is guaranteed by a strong groundwater flow, a depth of 6 to 8m and an open drain. Due to the varied natural design of the banks and sunbathing areas and the separation of traffic and recreational areas, the Ausee offers an optimal recreational landscape.

Today, to compensate, we went for a brisk walk around the Ausee in pairs. 🙂 On the way back, Lukas Kaufmann cycled towards us 😃, the 2nd place winner at RAAM 2024. We recognized him immediately because we recently attended a lecture with a documentary film by him. A great personality who has remained "down to earth". 👍👍👍
