The Büsenbach Valley has just been awarded a prize; the Heideschleife (heath loop) was voted the second most beautiful hiking trail this year, and I've never been there! After the lunch break, our second hike of the day began. Beautiful forest paths lead us to the heath in the Büsenbach Valley and the romantic fairy ponds. After the viewpoint high above the Büsenbach Valley, the trail leads past the small fairy ponds. We didn't see any fairies, but we did leave a few wishes.
