Today made a spontaneous decision from the free parking lot near Unterwössen via the Kaltenbachtal to the Jochberg and from there to the Hochgern summit, which is covered with light snow.

I strongly advise against descending (or ascending) towards Jochbergalm at the moment. It is the shady side and has (September 22, 2024) a lot of deep snow. No tracks or trail markings. It was extremely difficult and very dangerous!
