Nice view of Calheta, but the way back is via the main road - better look for an alternative here.
Contrary to the time given, we only needed 2:19 for the tour.

On our first day on Madeira we set out to get to know our surroundings in Calheta. From our holiday apartment we went straight through the village up to the kilometer-long levadas. They clearly know how to use their water. We had fantastic views of the nature and the Atlantic!
