The barony reached the revolutionary era in fairly poor condition: “an old castle composed of several rooms, bedrooms, attics, with surrounding ditches and a chapel, grass circuit, all for 6 mowable yards”. National property in Year II of the Republic, the estate was sold in 1807 to be transformed into agricultural exploitation. The moat has been filled in but the manor, still in poor condition, continues to stand on its green carpet.
