The Marchfeld Canal cycle path begins here. The path leads through the Marchfeld, the "vegetable garden of Austria" (as the board says), to Schloss Hof, 62.5 km away. The partially gravelled paths are a comfortable ride without any major inclines. The Machfeld Canal is used for irrigation and when you cycle along it, you can clearly see how much effort goes into making sure that the lettuce or asparagus turns out the way it should...
