Thanks to the less than ideal weather forecast, the Alpstein was not as crowded as usual today... Very nice and fairly easy hike - the Brüeltobel is a bit tough with a gradient of more than 20%.

We started in the morning from the parking lot at the Hoher Kasten valley station, from there we went back to the Pfannenstiel and then steeply up to the Plattenbödile mountain inn where we had our first refreshment. (Very tasty chocolate and whiskey cake)
Then we went back over the Sämtisersee towards the rest area in Brülisau.
