The tour first took us to St. Ives. It was already pretty busy in the morning and we had to get away. At least cycling near the water was no fun.

Today was full of highlights with the view over to St Michael's Mount being the iconic Cornish snap shot.

A grey wet start faded away and the strong southern wind was mostly helpful. An early steep walk ended in lovely quiet …
Inspired by "The Promised Land" route by Jack Thurston. The fierce tailwind on the North coast helped, and the mine landscape was well worth the detour.

Missed the amazing views, i.e the Eagles Nest was in thick mist, but there remained a strong sensation of being immersed in the landscape.
