The trail starts near the Berck seal hotspot. It runs along the Baie de Authie, a very beautiful and spacious bay south of Berck.
For the first section, we chose the path above the coastal fortifications and below the dunes. It is very easy to walk here because the sand is relatively firm.

Very nice hike! but high tide for me so I didn't see any Seals!!! A beautiful immersion in the Bay of the Somme
