Churt Bridleway

Highlight • Trail

Short bridleway that cuts behind Churt and eventually leads towards Frensham pond. Keeps you away from the road.

Wide in parts but can get quite boggy in winter.

Furze Hill Bridleway

Highlight • Trail

Short and narrow bridleway, super fun if ridden downhill with three little drops.

The King's Ridge

Peak

10.9 km

Brilliant network of bridleways including part of the Surrey Hills Cycle loop. Sandy, stony and gently undulating through fir forests and heathland, a real haven.

Sandy Lane Ford

Highlight • Bridge

The choice is yours; over the bridge or through the splash! There's a central paved stone portion if you're going to ride it, but go easy as it can get pretty slippery through Jumps Stream!

Tip by

14.1 km

A random path leading to Hankley Common where you need to keep your eyes and ears open or golf balls flying ahead as the path cuts through the course. It's a short section but gets you up onto the Common with more paths.

Tip by

16.7 km

Short and sweet Singletrack decent leading onto the Hankley fireroads. Great views on a clear day. Sandy terrain so generally good riding all year round.

Watch out the the army who often do training exercises on the common.

Punchbowl Bridleway

Highlight • Trail

A quieter part of the Punchbowl, this bridleway is great for climbing back up to the cafe area after riding on hankley or Thursley.

View of the Devil's Punchbowl

Highlight • Natural Monument

No trip to the Punchbowl is complete without taking in the view from the dedicated viewpoint just beyond the National Trust cafe. A relief on a large stone on the viewing platform gives more information about what you can see.
