From Niederschmalkalden to Auwallemburg, the cycle path is very beautiful. 80% of the way through is in the shade, which was very pleasant. After the former train station, the path to Mömmelstein became increasingly worse, which was quite a challenge on touring bikes, so we cycled back. For mountain bikers, it's okay.
