Cycle Path Behind Rottach-Egern to Valepp

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

Just nice to drive. Ordinary asphalt, no motorized traffic and a dream landscape. Rarely are cows on the track. Great feeder to change and Valepp.

The road to Valepp is an absolute highlight. No traffic (now and then a bus) and now also tarred again.

Valepp Scenic Road

Highlight • Cycleway

One of the most beautiful roads in Bavaria (almost) without traffic - because the toll road ends at the Spitzingsee and saddle. 🤩

Spitzing Saddle

Highlight • Mountain Pass

There is a parking lot at the Spitzingsattel. From here, several hiking trails lead to Schönfeldhütte, Firstalm or Spitzingsee.

Sudelfeld Pass Ascent

Highlight • Mountain Pass

From Bayrischzell it goes with moderate slope on Sudelfeld. In the area the Sudelfeld Pass with the racing bike is simply a must.

Single-Lane Rock Tunnel

Highlight • Structure

Before the tunnel, the road is steep up to 18 percent. Nice that such a highlight still exists in Germany. Since the road in the tunnel is completely straight, you won't be overlooked even by bike.

The last third is missing from the recording. The navigation system didn't work from the beginning, the phone was flat before me

Checked the @Thea Heim again, but it just keeps up with everything. Fantastic!
Started at 4 p.m., there was no traffic at all, and with the perfect weather, it was really fun again.

Fabulous round in the Valepp area 🏞️with an ascent to the Spitzingsattel, Tatzelwurm and a crisp wall at the end 🚴💪.
Stop at Kaffee Rössler 🍰☕ near Brannenburg highly recommended!

My Garmin didn't record any more hm after the Tatzelwurm 😭. Apparently that can't handle rain. Rule #1 violated theobsessivecyclist.com/2019/12/06/velominati-the-rules-updated
