January 3, 2026,Bad Langensalza und "Lichter Poesie" im japanischen Garten
Inspired by MDR THÜRINGEN Journal, we traveled to Bad Langensalza to see the "Light Poetry" installation in the Japanese Garden, which is on display until tomorrow.

Beforehand, we took a short stroll through the old town, which has many highlights.

We enjoyed it; it's very worth seeing, and we'll be back in the summer. 😄 🙋‍♂️

Today my dad or grandpa drove to Bad Langensalza for a cure and made a little city tour for later. 🏫⛪⛲
Lots of green and also interesting buildings.
Nice city where I would like to stop by again with the family.

In between we visited the rose café and then, freshly strengthened, went on to the Japanese garden. The last thing we did was look at the old town with its very well-preserved architecture, and then take a stroll through …

pharmacy museum. And right next to the house, the apothecary garden displays a wide selection of medicinal and aromatic plants that are still …

Beautiful, now well restored small town. Stroll through the pedestrian zone with many cafes, then the garden path to Friederiken Castle with its baroque garden, past the rose garden, Japanese garden and the city wall path. Recommended!
