In the 16th century, there was an iron forge here. In 1716, Andrzej Pratorius became the owner of the forge. Then the plant was rebuilt into an oil mill, then a sawmill and a grain mill, which was in operation until the end of World War II when it was owned by the Czachowski family.
The pond, dam and culvert have been preserved, and the completely neglected and partially devastated mill building was renovated by the new owner in 2010.
Next door at ul. There is also a single-story "Młynarza's House" at 520 Grunwaldzka Street, renovated in 2010, made of brick, with doors and a staircase dating back to the mid-19th century.
