Great venue, and one of the venues of the Sidetracked Live - The Creators Tour

I can still get mad at myself for not taking pictures on the Old Military Road close to Fort William. The hills, the serenity, the technical roads, it was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had on my gravel bike. Be aware though, this is very much a technical segment and might be dificult for some to pass.

Excellent technical challenge riding South along the West Highland Way to Kinlochleven.
Wonderful views add to the experience.

West Highland Way: Nevis Forest Section

Highlight (Segment) • Forest

Although there has been some substantial felling here in recent years, the Nevis Forest offers some fantastic challenges and epic views as you course your way into Fort William.

Steep singletrack, epically fast doubletrack, steppy thrutchyness; it's all here.

After a long slog, the West Highland Way ends here (although it now actually ends in the town centre). There's a sign here to get a photo with your bike, but it's a shame to end such an epic journey by a suburban roundabout
