Always a highlight in every season. Perfect for dog walks. If you are lucky you can even see a beaver. According to the damage to the trees, there are some on the way.

Fürstenwalde is a beautifully preserved medieval town with a fantastic city center. You can still forget everything around you on the bike path along the Spree and look for relaxation and tranquility, which you will definitely find here.

Old Arm of the Spree

The transition to the (peninsula) island shown on Komoot does not exist (as of February 2024). The best you can do is try to balance on a tree trunk...

A hike with 🦮 along the Spree and a detour to beautiful Fürstenwalde. All done just in time before the next shower. 😉

Start and finish directly at the steakhouse La Brigada. Very motivating 😀. Tested right at the end and definitely recommended, even without a hike.

The way there is very easy or boring, depending on your perspective, because you walk long parts on a great bike path.

On the way back you can also see more of the Spree.

I parked near the Heimattiergarten Fürstenwalde directly on the L35 and then started my tour from there. First we went to the former secondary school and then over the Spree cycle path to the Pintschbrücke with the former Pintschhafen.

Today I thought to myself that if I walked the 66 Lakes trail the other way around and specifically …
