The Crosby Beach Parkrun starts just outside the leisure centre every Saturday at 9:00. The course is an out and back heading northwest along the coast, it's marshalled and signed so easy to follow and fun with a strong parkrun community.
If you're running here at any other time, you can still follow the course or run a shorter or longer distance along the coast. The running is great with a surfaced trail or the sandy beach depending on what you feel like. Heading north you can run to Formby (or further) which makes a lovely loop with the ice cream van at the turn around point. South and you'll get into Liverpool.
