Fairy Tale Forest Pond (Märchenwaldteich)

Highlight (Segment) • Lake

The fairy tale trail consists of 15 stations where a story is told by panels. The special: At almost every station there is a hand-sawn work of art or something to balance or similar. The figures are sometimes a bit older and still nice to look at.

The fairytale hiking trail near Jesteburg is lovingly designed. It has just celebrated its fifteenth anniversary, which is why the wooden figures have all just been redesigned. There is a lot to experience for children here. In addition to the fairytale journey, there is always climbing equipment and the forest itself also offers plenty of opportunities for climbing.

The fairy tale hiking trail near Jesteburg tells the story of the "Trickser" with many hand-sawn figures in 15 stations. Some of the characters are getting a bit old. The path is still very nice - especially with children! It was pretty crowded today because of the good weather.

Today we went to Jesteburg, where we planned two activities.
First we went to the "Fairy Tale Trail".
The hiking trail goes back to the fairy tale "The Trickster", which a sixth class of the Neu Wulmstorf Realschule created as part of a project.

Today I wanted to "test out" the fairy tale trail for my godchild and hiked the loop once. The fairy tale is told by the "trickster."
Every now and then there are a few information boards and some fairy tale characters are also standing around in the forest.
A corresponding brochure is also available for the hiking trail, but there …

Today we went hiking on the fairytale trail "The Trickster"! It was a fantastic walk through nature, transporting us into the world of fairy tales and stories. The route was varied and offered us many beautiful views and interesting stops. We had a great time and enjoyed the fresh air. A fantastic trip!

The path is in an idyllic hilly location outside the village.
The marking of the path sometimes leaves a lot to be desired, although the visible markings are very lovingly made.
The forest kindergarten ... a gift ... happy childhood, who could be there.
