The "shortcut" via the beautiful hiking trail along Åsnen is absolutely worth seeing, but not suitable for two-wheelers. If you enjoy jumping over rocks and roots on 20cm-wide trails on your mountain bike, the trail might be fun; otherwise, it's better to take the bike path.
