The Haff Rémeich nature reserve is known for its large variety of bird and plant species, which can be explored on two adventure trails. The futuristically designed nature conservation center Biodiversum was built on an artificially created island and is still closed this morning.

In beautiful sunshine, we were able to experience the colorful autumnal colors of the trees, the lakes, and the surrounding vineyards near Wintringen (Lörrach).
The observation towers and huts offered us beautiful nature observations, as we spotted many birds such as ducks, swans, and cormorants.
Conclusion: A Sunday outing, including a short hike, was well worth it.
