If you continue straight on in the bend, you will come to the hiking trail along the Levada dos Louros. Since the Levada has apparently not had any water for some time, this path is probably only rarely used and is therefore quite overgrown in places. However, it is still easy to walk without any aids up to the "dam wall" about 600m away.
