Minderleinsmühle

The mill was probably built around 1100. The name of the mill has changed several times over the years.[4] The place was first mentioned in 1300 as "Fullesackes Mule". The determinant of the place name is probably the family name of the then owner (Fullesack).[5] In 1391 the Nuremberg patricians Geuder had manorial claims to the "Oedmühle". In 1439 it was owned by Hermann Wüst and named after him. Around 1500 it was finally owned by the Minderlein family and was named after them. In 1609, Geuder's claims passed to the Wildenstein and finally to the Egloffstein. The high court was exercised by the Nuremberg court of Heroldsberg until 1583.[4] Since then, this has been claimed by both Brandenburg-Kulmbach and the Bishopric of Bamberg. In 1778 the mill was in the Fraisch district of the Bamberg Centamt Neunkirchen, while the day laborer's house was in the Fraisch district of the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Oberamt Baiersdorf. Under the Prussian administration of Ansbach-Bayreuth, an attempt was made in 1792 to incorporate the Bamberg mill into the Baiersdorf camera office.[5]
